Dr John Lourens and I have been working on a paper that describes the publicly known details surrounding the money accrued by the miners at Boulder, Western Australia, for the purpose of fatality benefits to widows and families.
You probably know that Ms Gillard attended a meeting at Boulder and spoke in support of the contention that Bruce Wilson should be given authority to move control of the fund to his office in Perth.
You may also have read of the purchase of two holiday apartments with that money - apartments purchased from John McInerny, the Ford dealer and a friend of Mr Wilson's. You may have seen reports of Ford vehicles being driven by union reps as well.
I would be pleased if you'd read and comment on John's and my paper.
